The buffet opens like a small morning landscape: soft cakes, fragrant tarts, Alpe Pragas jams that speak of fruit harvested at altitude, Mieli Thun honeys that bring alpine blooms to the table, from the delicate acacia to the deeper chestnut, through to the wildflower that tastes of summer meadow. Then rustic bread, local cheeses, thinly sliced speck, eggs made to order. Yogurt, fresh fruit, juices. It is the first moment of the day when the mountain is truly felt. An invitation to linger, read, plan an excursion, or treat yourself to a few hours in the spa before heading out.
