Since the early 1900s, when we were known as Albergo del Buon Pastore, we have come a long way, welcoming between our walls pieces and faces of history. And we continue to do so today, in our 47 rooms, always on that street that continues to bubble with contemporary creativity.

It is a quiet room, our Economy, with an internal aspect. The style is that of the historic Grand Hotels. The wood tones and cream shades give a feeling of embrace. It is our base room, but no less comfortable for that.

There are morning rituals that are worth a stay all by themselves. Leopold Bloom used to prepare the tray for his wife Molly and carry it upstairs: it was care, it was time, it was the way a day began well. It is that same idea that we have made our own. 
Breakfast is served in the elegant Sala Stucchi of the Café Continentale or, on fine days, on our outdoor terrace. Atmospheres that embrace and pamper. That carry you to a time suspended from time, where Joyce might share a table with Empress Maria Theresa of Austria. To order a pancake with red berries and maple syrup, or a fruit salad and a protein omelette. They both have continental ideas, certainly. But when it comes to coffee, they remain deeply Italian. And thanks to Illy, we are truly in very good hands.

As well as those of Carducci, who slept in one of these very rooms. This room is for lovers of atmospheres from other times, and for those who adore oscillating between vintage pieces and contemporary design, like our lamps.

On the top floor of the hotel, a room that dances in shades of white: from the clean white of the exposed beams of the mansard ceiling to the milk-white of the walls. The real gem? The Turkish bath in the room. Perfect after a day among the city's wonders.
